1. When does registration open?

2. How do I register for the Summer Institute?
Registration will be managed through the Ohio State Scarlet Canvas platform.
3. What forms of payment are accepted?
Major credit cards.
4. Do I have to be an Ohio State student to enroll in Summer Institute courses?
No. Prior enrollment as an Ohio State student is not required to participate in the Summer Institute nor will you need to apply for admission to be a part of this program.
5. Are the courses self-paced?
Courses may be self-paced, synchronous (in real time), or hybrid. Course descriptions will include the mode of delivery.
6. Who should participate in the Summer Institute?
The Summer Institute will feature a variety of courses with appeal across multiple audiences, including options for teachers, administrators, and other district and community-based staff.
7. What is the process if accommodations are needed?
Some Summer Institute courses have synchronous workshop sessions. During those, automated captioning will be provided within Zoom. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact ehe-accessibility@osu.edu. Requests made 10 days prior to the workshop generally allows us to provide seamless access, but the college will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
